Tilters
Tilters provide an economical, dependable, and versatile method of tilting heavy loads. Tilters have few moving parts, are well lubricated, and provide many years of trouble free operation. Each tilter is designed and manufactured to meet the industry safety requirements set forth in ANSI MH29.2, and is by far the most popular and efficient of all styles of tilters used in material handling applications.
Below you will find a number of different types of Tilters. You can select any one of the following to see specific product information.

 Tilt Lifts
|
The Autoquip TiltLift Series provides the functionality of a traditional lift and tilt lift in a more affordable package. This unique product can both raise and tilt parts baskets and bins to an optimal ergonomic position for safer and easier access. These compact and easy-to-use lifts feature a small footprint and a minimal lowered height, so they can easily fit into any workflow environment. The TiltLift is field proven, with hundreds of units installed, and is the most affordable and dependable ergonomic solution available. |
 Series 35 Tilters
|
Series 35 hydraulic tilters bring parts and hard-to-reach objects where they are needed, within easy reach of the worker in applications such as small parts handling (in bins and baskets), assembly or disassembly of large components, and stacking or de-stacking operations. A Series 35 hydraulic tilter reduces worker fatigue and reduces the risk of back injuries by eliminating the need to reach and bend over in repetitive operating environments. Series 35 hydraulic tilters offer a high quality, low cost, repeatable tilting and positioning solution along with ergonomic benefits. |
 90 Degree Tilter
|
This STE 90 degree family of hydraulic tilters is used for process improvements such as re-orientating small loads or palletizing and de-palletizing, or for ergonomic purposes such as bringing hard-to-reach objects where they are needed, within easy reach of the worker in applications such as small parts handling (in bins and baskets). STE 90 degree tilters utilize double acting hydraulic cylinders to rotate, then return, a load or container through a 90 degree travel at a controlled rate of speed. The hydraulic power unit is located inside the tilter base frame, or can be remotely located. |
 90 Degree Flip Flop
|
Autoquip 90 Degree Upenders are heavy industrial hydraulic tilters that safely upend or down-end a wide variety of heavy, bulky, and/or odd-shaped objects through 90 degrees of travel at a controlled rate of speed. Typical applications would include coil and die handling, engine block manufacturing, coil reorientation and palletizing or de-palletizing. Industrial hydraulic Upenders utilize double acting hydraulic cylinders, and the hydraulic power unit can be located inside or outside of the hydraulic Upender base frame. 90 degree Upenders have a footprint which is approximately equal to the sum of both tilter "wings" or decks. |
 90 Degree Upenders
|
Autoquip 90 Degree Rotators are heavy industrial hydraulic tilters that are specially designed to rotate uniform loads through 90 degree travel at a controlled rate of speed. These hydraulic rotators reposition or re-orientate a wide variety of loads such as coils, dies, engines, and other heavy loads where the center of gravity is centered on the load throughout rotation. With this type of load, Autoquip hydraulic rotators can rotate the load within its own footprint, approximately half the footprint of its cousin - the 90 degree hydraulic Upender. Hydraulic rotators utilize single acting hydraulic cylinders with specially designed mechanical linkages and interflow hydraulic piping to accomplish this unique tilting feature. |
 High Hinge Dumper
|
Autoquip High Hinge Dumpers are heavy industrial hydraulic tilters that rotate a load through approximately 120 degrees of travel over a high, fixed hinge to (typically) provide dumping of the load into a raised container or collection point. Typical applications would include dumping of material drop, ingredients, laundry, packages, and other small or non-fragile parts. Hydraulic dumpers utilize single acting hydraulic cylinders, and the hydraulic power unit can be located inside or outside of the dumper base frame. High Hinge hydraulic dumpers can be customized for a variety of applications and environments. |
 Air Force Lift and Tilt
|
Autoquip offers both pneumatic Tilters and Lift and Tilt products. The Autoquip Air Force Lift and Tilt is a completely air powered unit which brings parts and hard-to-reach objects to within easy grasp of the operator in a wide variety of industrial tilting applications without the expense and potential oil spills associated with hydraulic systems. These integrated models, when used in combination, enhance both ergonomic and labor saving benefits by reducing reaching and bending associated with the use of bins and baskets usually employed in assembly operations. Autoquip tilters reduce the need to reach and bend the leading causes of back injuries in repetitive operating environments. |
