Billy Hawkins Promoted to Manufacturing Supervisor of 2nd Shift

Autoquip is very pleased to announce the promotion of Billy Hawkins to Manufacturing Supervisor of our 2nd shift. Billy has been with the company for 36 years where he has played a critical role in manufacturing our lift equipment. In his new role, Billy will oversee the manufacturing processes of our 2nd Shift to meet production quality, resolve production issues, and support deliveries and inventories.

“I’m excited to use my 36 years of product knowledge, lean manufacturing, and shop floor experience to work towards implementing improvement in production processes and efficiencies. I hope to achieve getting our second shift up and running as smoothly and seamlessly as possible,” said Billy Hawkins. “My experience here at Autoquip have given me the knowledge and resourcefulness to hit the ground running with minimum downtime to make an immediate impact on our manufacturing facility”.

Billy has started the transition into his new role this week as we get the 2nd shift fully staffed over the next couple of months. “We are very excited to promote Billy to the Supervisor team. His many years of service, product knowledge, and with his ability to train / lead will enhance the Autoquip key initiatives such as quality, safety, factory performance and reduced lead times,” said Chris Kuehni, Director of Operations for Autoquip.
