Series 35 Scissor Lift Mounted To Oil Field Truck

Series 35 scissor lift mounted to truck trailer to lift control cabin for workers to survey the field.

A leading provider of products and services to the oil & energy industry needed a solution for lifting control cabins above their truck’s equipment for best visibility during on-site operations.

Autoquip specially designed a Series 35 scissor lift that is mounted on the truck trailer and operates off the truck’s 24VDC power and is controlled from inside the cabin.

A few design modifications were made to the Series 35 scissor lift to fit the application requirements:

A custom mounting plate was fabricated onto the Series 35 platform for a custom fit to the control cabins mounting fixture.

We also engineered a special 24VDC power unit to be powered by the trucks existing power.

The flexibility in design of the Series 35 scissor lift was simple to customize for this application and has led to improved on-site operations. The customer ordered 20 units and is planning to order more for their truck fleet.
