Easy Install Modular VRC Design

Autoquip’s Modular VRC designed to minimize the onsite installation time to complete a project.

A major online retail distribution company has been rapidly expanding their distribution centers all over the U.S. They are building new warehouses so they can deliver online orders the same day or next day to U.S. shoppers in major cities. While the company builds new warehouses, they are finding each site location has a different set of needs and resources to optimize operations. They are looking for the latest technology and equipment that can be deployed expeditiously to meet their critical go live dates. The operational layout at some of their new distribution centers required a VRC – Freight Lift to travel a smaller distance and take smaller loads to a mezzanine level. The request for these types of VRC – freight lifts needed to be quick to install with modular sections requiring no welding.

The Autoquip team has extensive knowledge designing and configuring all types of single or multiple level VRCs. For the needs of this customer, we were able to modify our mechanical cantilever freight lift design that is prefabricated in our plant. The lift is delivered in (3) sections for one day installation. The lift is also equipped with a plug & play control system making it simple to connect and ready for start-up.

Autoquip’s modular freight lift design provides a durable and easily used lift to move packing materials to the location on the mezzanine.  Because of the easy installation design, we greatly decreased the time and the cost to install.  The VRC lift design has been praised by our customer and additional orders have been placed.  An Autoquip VRC can be included in any distribution centers for many material handling processes.
