Background: Following the successful completion of our initial project with this spacecraft manufacturer, we were approached for a similar application involving a smaller rocket engine.
Project Scope: The lift system for this project requires a mobile scissors lift to elevate and position the engine crawler onto the test stand.
Our Solution
Unlike the first project, which utilized an air-powered transport system, this new design features an electrically powered hydraulic system for lifting. The transport mechanism includes joystick-operated hydraulic drive wheels, ensuring precise and efficient movement.

The Results
The new electrically powered hydraulic lift system exceeded all performance expectations. The mobile scissors lift provided precise and stable elevation, while the joystick-operated hydraulic drive wheels ensured smooth and accurate transport of the engine crawler.
