Extra Narrow Double Long Scissor Lifts fitted with conveyor to transfer large plastic containers for glue filling application.

The customer who supports the printing industry wanted to improve the process of transferring plastic gaylords to their liquid glue filling stations.They needed a lift that could bring the containers to meet up with the nozzles to fill the gaylords with the glue.

The lift is an extra narrow-double long Series 35 lift with 36″ of travel and 4,000 lb. capacity. The conveyor was furnished and mounted by others for the purpose of advancing plastic gaylords to the glue filling stations. The lift features a remote 5HP power unit due to the additional oil volume required to elevate the lift to full extension of 42-1/2″. The platform is 20″ wide x 120″ long and needed to fit inside an existing 22″ wide trough when collapsed.

Due to the large capacity of the plastic gaylords, the lift and conveyor system helps transport the containers to the glue filling stations with greater ease and essentially creating a continuous application process.
