(2) Track Mounted Work Platform Lifts Provide Better Accuracy for Aircraft Paint Application.

A major aircraft manufacturing company needed a more efficient process for painting aircraft parts that would allow for better accuracy and repeatability. They wanted to add two lines of paint finishing assembly at their facility. The system would need to move along a track to each workstation and also bring the painter within close reach of the parts for more control and accuracy.

Autoquip’s engineering team designed (2) track mounted work platform scissor lifts with shuttling decks. The work platform lifts travel forward and reverse on track to move the process along quicker. The shuttling decks provide precision positioning which will greatly improve the painter’s reach and provide safe contact with the parts.

Added features include:

• Front angled handrails with padding so painter can lean over and paint product with more comfort.
• Shuttle deck includes plexi-glass side paneling to prevent items from falling while performing the work.
• Explosion proof components.
