(3) American Tork Lifts create multiple lift system to bring the story of Spider-Man to life on stage.

PRG Scenic Technologies, a premier theatric technology production company needed reliable and fast acting lifts that met the demands of the fast-paced show and the countless scenes of Spider-Man propelling and flying across the stage.

Our customer, HM Cross & Sons played a critical role in working with PRG in determining multiple lift solutions with centralized operational controls to work within their console system. The multiple lift system included the following American lift models:

Tork model T1-168-020. Platform 45″ x 213″. Travel 168″. Capacity 2,000lbs. Power unit and controls provided by PRG Twin double acting Parker cylinders with on board transducers Tecspak bumpers.

Tork model T2-182-060HC. Platform 156″ x 103″ in a trapezoid shape. Travel 182″. Capacity 6,000lbs. Power unit and controls provided by PRG Twin double acting Parker cylinders with on board transducers Tecspak bumpers.

Tork model T2-132-060. Right hand Platform 138″ x 182″ in a trapezoid shape. Travel 132″. Capacity 6,000lbs. Power unit and controls provided by PRG Twin double acting Parker cylinders with on board transducers Tecspak bumpers.

American Lifts provided premium lifts with special features such as the captured rollers, solid full width axle pins for reliable and accurate operations for the demands of this action packed theatrical show. Spiderman was the star of the show, but the American Tork Lift was the shining star behind the scenes.
