Michael Merritt Promoted to Production Manager

Autoquip is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Merritt to our new Production Manager position. Michael has been with the company for 5 plus years, he started in production control and then he was promoted to shipping supervisor. Since he joined our team Michael has demonstrated a strong desire to help everyone, drive continuous improvement, provide leadership on numerous internal issues and team projects. With his strong communication ability and understanding of our product(s) and systems, he will continue to enhance Autoquip’s position as a leader in this industry.

In this new role Michael will be responsible for the management of production activities including work cells & resources, equipment reliability, on-time delivery, shipments, quality manufacturing, process improvements and safety / housekeeping. Additionally Michael will have an interactive role with Sales, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality, to support our customers and internal goals / continuous improvement projects.
