Autoquip Improves Gates for VRCs by Using Chain Drive Design
Autoquip announced today they are improving their vertical gates for VRCs by using a chain and sprocket drive design. Traditionally, Autoquip’s vertical gates both bi-parting and single panel have been cable driven, but with the new design customers will experience a better performance over the life of the lift, and a more durable operation. The new chain drive design will have the same form, fit and function as the former cable drive.
James Johnston, Autoquip’s Engineer Manager, said, “The chain and sprocket design will provide a more consistent performance in the field and easier for our dealers to install. We have already seen a significant improvement in performance with our customers who are using this new design.”
Louis Coleman, Director of Sales & Marketing, added, “We believe the new design of our gates will benefit our customers in many ways. We are continually looking for ways to improve our product and listening to our customers for suggestions.”
