Mechanical Scissor Lift with Adjustable Speed

Mechanical T1 Scissors Lift used to mate (2) parts for aerospace manufacturer.

Our Aerospace customer was looking for a lifting solutions to mate two parts together requiring the lift to operate at a super slow speed to meet up with the other part.

Autoquip’s engineers designed a mechanical T1 scissors lift with vertical stacking chain and VFD Drive to control the upward force.  The VFD is programmed to limit the amount of upward force and reduce the amp torque.  Dual Speed controls the lift speed at ¼ inch/second up to 1-1/4 inch/second.  HMI control panel operation.

Through our custom engineering design process, Autoquip’s engineer team designed the mechanical lift to meet the application requirements for precise positioning and speed to mate the two parts.
