Our History
From the moment we opened in 1947, the Autoquip family has continuously raised the bar and revolutionized the world of quality lift equipment.
Autoquip was established in 1947
by Jesse Clarke and his brother Dudley in Chicago, Illinois, specializing in hydraulic lifting equipment. Leveraging his connections in the automotive sector, Jesse started producing high-quality, large-diameter ram lifts primarily utilized in automotive service.
Solid Corporate Support
For over 100 years, Miner Enterprises, Inc. has supplied the railroad industry with quality manufactured and engineered railcar components. Autoquip Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of privately held Miner Enterprises. Because of this corporate support, we enjoy consistent and continued growth.
