Autoquip Announces Workplace Recycling Initiative

Autoquip has launched a recycling initiative by partnering with Outback Recycling of Guthrie, OK. Outback Recycling is a non-profit recycling center who has partnered with the City of Guthrie to provide free recycling options for its citizens. Outback Recycling provides job training and opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.

The workplace recycling initiative is designed to manage waste and recyclables at the company. During the work week, employees have been asked to put plastic, cardboard and paper into dedicated recycling bins. The items will then be picked up by Outback Recycling where it will be transported for recycling.  The company has also taken steps to reduce the use of plastics and Styrofoam cups in the office break rooms by purchasing sustainable alternatives.  Autoquip believes that the measures we put in place to increase recycling and reduce waste will make a significant environmental impact.
