Autoquip Mourns the Loss of Bill Adel, former president of Corporation

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one Autoquip’s past company presidents, Bill Adel. Bill became President of Autoquip in 1975, after leading the White Welding Corp. in Kenosha, WI, now Powerbrace- Division of Miner Enterprise. He maintained his position until retirement in 1999. He was a very active supporter of the material handling trade industry. He was active in taking Autoquip past being just a dock products manufacturer. He was instrumental in bringing the freight lift line of products and introducing the Series 35 line of inplant lifts to Autoquip.

Bill subscribed to the philosophy, Autoquip still lives by today. “To assure our company success in the decades ahead, we must be totally open to what is new in creative thinking, products and service to our customers. We must take the strengths we have developed over the past 70 years, and build upon them through commitment to change and continuous improvement.”

Bill steered Autoquip through many successes and we are thankful for all he did for the company.
