Project Challenge
A leading custom commercial cabinet maker specializing in high-quality, tailored cabinetry for various industries sought to enhance their production process by improving workplace ergonomics. With a focus on precision and efficiency, they recognized the need for a solution that would reduce physical strain on their workers during the preparation, assembly, and processing stages of cabinetry construction.
Our Solution
Autoquip provided the customer with our highly reliable Series 35 scissor lift, featuring 48 inches of vertical travel. This versatile lift was chosen for its proven performance and adaptability in demanding environments. It was specifically tailored to assist in the cabinet-making process by elevating cabinet panels of varying sizes, facilitating their seamless alignment with the pressing machine for the application of surface materials to board stock.
In addition to the lift, the customer demonstrated innovation by designing a custom worksurface on top of the lift platform that perfectly suited their workflow. This custom-crafted worksurface included a specialized cubicle designed to keep tools, fixtures, and clamps within easy reach, further enhancing efficiency and ergonomics. The integration of Autoquip’s lift with the customer’s bespoke tooling solution resulted in a highly effective and ergonomic workstation that streamlined the cabinet-making process.
