Introduction
Portable dock lift keeps things running smoothly for school cafeteria.
Project Challenge
Oakdale Public Schools in Edmond, OK needed a solution to make the unloading process of food supplies for the school cafeteria easier. They do not have a dock area and were having to make several trips to bring in supplies that are labor intensive, not safe and time consuming. They contacted Autoquip for a dock lifting solution.
Our Solution
Autoquip recommended a CMD dock lift with 40” travel. The CMD Dock lift offers an excellent solution for low capacity applications where no dock area is available. The dock lift is portable and can easily be moved to the truck for unloading purposes. An exceptional low profile makes it easier for transfer carts to roll onto and off the platform. It is simple to operate with push button controls and single-phase electrical connection powers onboard hydraulic power unit.
The Results
The CMD dock lift has improved productivity and employee safety at the school by automating their unloading tasks. Not only is it being used to unload food supplies, but also books, papers and printer equipment.
