Update To Our Cyber Attack
Over the past week, our corporate IT department and the hired team of security experts have taken a variety of measures against the threat to restore our servers and give us access back to our ERP System, internet and Email. These are the most critical business functions that allow us to continue to quote, process orders, ship, and communicate to our customers. Additional work is required for access to our file servers, and these will be added as quickly as possible.
Our first priority is to retain the confidence of our customers and their trust. We have continued to quote, manufacture and ship with our systems down, but our process will flow much faster now that we are on our way to full recovery. We are doing everything we can to catch up quickly. We appreciate your continued patience as we get back online and begin to address our backlog. If your order is delayed, you will receive a call from us directly with that information.
We regret any inconvenience or concern this attack has caused. We are committed to applying all necessary resources to strengthen the security of our IT systems. It is important to note that because we do not retain any customer’s private banking information or credit card numbers on file, no information to this matter was compromised. As appropriate, we will share our experiences from these attacks with our customers to develop means to better protect all of us from these growing cyber security threats. As always, please feel free to reach out to any of our team members at Autoquip with questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Joe Robillard
